In order to design the Sun Odyssey 49, Jeanneau brought together a wealth of experience to create a modern, state-of-the-art architectural boat, providing even more enjoyment to its users. That's why the 49 has been in production since 2003.

The special foil design, with a 115 m2 sail area and a low-profile hull, makes this boat very easy to handle and speedy. It features a sail furling system and an electrical winch. The boat has a relatively wide beam, making the saloon very comfortable and spacious. There are four double-bed cabins and one storage cabin with a separate entrance. Additionally, there are four heads and showers, ensuring private usage. With air conditioning, a hi-fi music system, separate fridge and refrigerator, and a hot and cold water system, this boat offers luxurious amenities. The salon table is large enough to accommodate ten people and can also be converted into a large double bed.
